On-line Air Content analyser

Solution created to measure and monitor the air of the paper machine stock in a continuous manner. Differing from other air content analysers, SONICA has the capability to operate as part of the process without interfering in it.

 

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

SONICA uses ultrasound scattering to identify the quantity and quality of entrained air in the stock and transmits the collected data to the process control units for further actions.

Differing from other air content analysers, SONICA can be installed as a part of the process without interference in it. It does not have any moving mechanical parts thus it is very reliable and operational costs are low. This enables SONICA to offer various benefits such as increased accuracy of collected data, higher profile control and decreased overall consumption of defoamer chemicals.
