SAVCOR FOREST LTDA PARTICIPATED IN ABTCP CONGRESS IN URUGUAY
“Addressing the challenges and raising the alternatives for improving the security level of professional expertise in operation of recovery boilers within pulp and paper companies”. This was the goal of the 18th Congress of Recovery Boilers, sponsored by ABTCP (Brazilian Technical Association of Pulp and Paper) held between 15 and 17 August in the Conference Center "Las Cañas" in Rio Negro, Fray Bentos , Uruguay.
Aimed at managers, suppliers, operators, and boiler consultants of Latin America, the meeting featured a global perspective on management of the recovery boilers, with an emphasis on the experiences of pulp and paper companies. This event brought together about 90 professionals, with participants from Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Also incidents, best practices, new technologies, and new recovery boilers among others were discussed.
Savcor Forest Ltda participated through presenting a paper titling "Increase in Operational Efficiency and Availability of the Recovery Boiler Burning Allied with the tool of Preventive Diagnosis of Risks (BDS).
