Savcor and Savcor Forest Group celebrate 30 years of responsible business this year; an achievement we are also eager to communicate on our website. This 30^th anniversary will be one of the themes under “In Focus”, but let me tell you a bit about the other theme as well.

Forest- based industries among all the others face business environment of continuous and rapid changes with constantly higher demands. Markets are looking for solutions and services that offer efficiency and performance but sustainability as well. To Savcor Forest, this has been a vision throughout our history and now also a major factor in focus. In order to serve our customers better, we want to tell more about the sustainable aspects of our solutions here, supporting information we offer on the website. We are proud of our ability to offer competitive alternatives for increasing quality through sustainability.

The origins of Savcor Forest are in electro-chemical corrosion prevention; a technology that extends the life of machinery and equipment used in continuous processes. This was also the guiding principle throughout our expansion to solid wood where we nowadays offer solutions to optimise raw material usage and performance. In forestry industry we have taken upon ourselves to assist the operators with finding the most optimal ways to breed and manage their assets through entire supply chain. It seems that we have done quite well with keeping our focus.
