Hello North America!
Hello North America!
Savcor delivered the first anodic protection to the Northern American market already in 1988 and offices in Vancouver was opened to serve our customers better on this market. The past twenty-something years have marked a number of major changes in forest-based industries, to which the markets and Savcor have responded. Few things, however, seem to be constant; North America still holds more than half of the potential of the world in Pulp & Paper industries and continues to represent the forefront in technological advancement adoption. What an exciting market to be involved in!
The recent changes on the market have put cost-efficiency and customer orientation back to the center of attention, both of them driven by the increased need for operational transparency and higher return on investment. Customer is more educated than ever and requires a higher level of performance from suppliers. This is a challenge that Savcor Forest is willing to accept.
Traditionally Savcor Forest has focused on providing anodic protection solutions against corrosion in pulp and paper industries in North America. Considering the potential and the size of the market, it has been the clever thing to do. However, the operators on that particular market have grown also to possess raw material resources of their own, which naturally has also developed new needs for the customers. Another factor in association to this is the fact that many of the northern American operators invest in raw material assets in southern America. Taking into account that the core competences and the product portfolio of Savcor Forest it would be foolish not to offer competitive solutions for theseneeds on this market, as well. Savcor Forest’s WEDGE has been developed to shift the proportions of process data retrieval and -analysis upside-down; instead of focusing 80 % of your time on getting all the relevant data into one place to start analysis, you can use those 80 % into the actual analysis-part. Not bad, don’t you think? Complementing our solution for process efficiency, ZENITH forestry information management system, is created to answer to the needs of operators in the timber procurement supply chain. These are just two examples that match the developed needs on the market.
The core idea of Savcor has always been to develop advanced, sustainable solutions together with our customers in order to offer the maximum advantage out of them. This core idea remains the same also in the future.
